Abstract
A cosmetic composition comprises a cosmetically acceptable vehicle and at least one copolymer having units of a vinyl, allyl or methally ester of an .alpha.- or .beta.-cyclic carboxylic acid. A process for producing the said copolymer comprises reacting the monomeric constituents of the copolymer at a temperature between 45.degree.-100.degree. C. for a period ranging from 6 to 24 hours.
