Abstract

Plural donor design transfer strips that undergo linear change with temperature change are used simultaneously to print on one wide width receptor web. The donor strips are preheated, then alined and adjusted using register marks thereon, then introduced together with the receptor web into the heat transfer machine for transfer of the designs to the receptor web so that the design edges coincide on the web.
