Abstract

Novel substituted oxy-cyclohexylacetic acid derivatives as antihyperlipidemic agents are given. The compounds have the formula ##STR1## wherein n is 1 or 2; m is 0, 1 or 2; R.sub.1 represents a halogen atom, trifluoromethyl, a lower alkyl, a lower alkoxy, a lower alkylcarbonyl, dimethylphenylmethyl, cyclohexyl, phenyl, halogenophenyl, phenoxy or halogenophenoxy group, and two of R.sub.1 groups can be bonded to form an orthocondensed saturated alkylene ring; Hal represents a halogen atom; and R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group.
