Abstract
A rubber modified asphalt composition prepared by reacting a bituminous material with a polymerizable aromatic monomer and a rubbery polymer whereby the rubbery polymer is chemically integrated with the asphalt. The rubber modified asphalt compositions of this invention can be used in the treatment of glass fibers as well as in road paving applications, roofing applications and the like.
