Abstract
5-nitro-imidazole derivatives of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 is hydrogen, methyl, ethyl or phenyl, n is 2 or 3, and R.sub.2 is methyl, ethyl, carboxymethyl or carboxyethyl, and the pharamceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof, useful as antiprotozoics.
