Abstract

Wear-resisting iron base sintered alloy obtained by sintering a metal powder composed of, by weight, 15-25% chromium, 0-3% molybdenum, 1-5% copper, 0.3-0.8% phosphorus and 2.0-4.0% carbon, with the balance iron and less than 2% impurities, to a density of more than 7.3 g/cm.sup.3.
