Abstract
Phenolic esters wherein the phenolic groups are hindered by at least one ortho substituent. The esters are effective to impart thermal stability to olefin polymers. Their structure is as follows: ##STR1## where R is alkyl or cycloalkyl of 3-8 carbon atoms, R.sup.1 is alkyl of 1-6 carbon atoms and n is 1-2.
