A method of treating inflammation in mammals by administering thereto compounds having the general formula: ##STR1## where R is hydrogen or alkyl of 1-4 carbon atoms, R.sup.1 is hydrogen or an alkyl of 1-4 carbon atoms and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
