Abstract
A new bleed, smudge and eradication resistant ink composition for use in the cancellation of stamps and marking of paper products consisting essentially of 2-ethyl-1,3-hexanediol, polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight in the range of 380 to 420, C.I. Solvent Black 28, triethanolamine chelate of orthotitanic acid, octylphenoxy polyethoxy ethanol having 5 ethylene oxide units, and octyl-phenoxy polyethoxy ethanol having 9 to 10 ethylene oxide units.
