Abstract

Novel hexahydropyrimid-4-yl ethers and a process for the preparation of hexahydropyrimid-4-yl ethers by reacting hexahydropyrimidines with alcohols at above 110.degree. C. The hexahydropyrimid-4-yl ethers obtainable by the process of the invention are valuable starting materials for the preparation of dyes, pesticides and assistants for use in textile chemistry, surface-coating resin chemistry and the timber industry.
