Abstract
An advantageous diuretic action by excretion of water, sodium and chloride ions, with reduced excretion of potassium ions, is effected by combined administration of a 19-oxygenated steroid compound of the pregnane series of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.a represents a hydrogen atom, and
