Abstract

O,N-Disubstituted hydroxylamines are prepared by reacting O-substituted ketoximes with hydrogen in the presence of a platinum catalyst at from 35 to 50 bar, in a medium containing a mineral acid. The O,N-disubstituted hydroxylamines I obtained by the process of the invention are valuable starting materials for the preparation of dyes, crop protection agents and drugs.
