Abstract
Stabilizer mixtures are provided for rigid polyvinyl chloride resin compositions, capable of enhancing the resistance of the polyvinyl chloride resin to the development of an early discoloration during the first five to twenty minutes of heating at elevated processing temperatures, of the order of 375.degree. F. and higher, comprising a monoalkyltin 2-acyloxyethylmercaptide and/or a dialkyltin 2-acyloxyethylmercaptide inadmixture with an alkyltin sulfide.
