Abstract
The products of the invention are acetylene end-capped polyimide oligomers prepared from a dianhydride of an aromatic tetracarboxylic such as 3,3', 4,4'-benzophenonetetracarboxylic acid, an aromatic diamine, and a propargyl ester of an amino-substituted aromatic acid such as aminobenzoic acid. The structure of the polyimide oligomers is shown in FIG. 3.
