Abstract

Cis-diammineplatinum(II) orthophosphate complexes are prepared by reaction of diaquo-cis-diammineplatinum(II) salts with alkali metal orthophosphates. The resulting complexes possess pronounced anti-tumor activity in mice and low toxicity; consequently, they have high therapeutic indices.
