Abstract

Compositions of nickel salts of 4-hydroxybenzoic acids and esters of aliphatic or aromatic carboxylic acids, which esters have boiling points of at least about 250.degree. C. are useful for stabilizing polyolefins against degradation by heat and ultraviolet radiation and for rendering polyolefins dyeable.
