Abstract
A printer ribbon cartridge arranged to house an endless band of ribbon formed in a mobius loop which enables different halves of the width of the ribbon to be presented for printing during successive cycles of the ribbon past a printing position. The ends of the ribbon are joined in a lap splice so that the cut end of the half of the ribbon presented for printing trails as it passes the printing position.
