Abstract

A particular color is defined in terms of red, green and blue densities thereof. When the densities fall within a predetermined ellipsoid in a three-dimensional chromaticity coordinate system the axes of which respectively represent the red, green and blue densities, the color is defined to be of the particular color. The ellipsoid is represented by the following formula.
