Water-soluble dyestuffs of the formula ##STR1## in which Y is oxygen or an imino group, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are hydrogen, halogen or lower alkyl or lower alkoxy, n is 1 to 3 and Z is a cation, are useful for fluorescent inks.
