Abstract
Nitroimidazoles of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are as hereinafter set forth, are described. The nitroimidazoles are useful as hypoxic-cell radiosensitizers, as well as being useful as antiprotozoal agents.
