Abstract

Steroidal cyclotriphosphazenes of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is the residue of a 3- or 17-hydroxysteroid and R.sub.2 is alkyl, are hydrolytically labile compounds adapted for slow release in vivo of active steroidal compounds of the formula ROH.
