Abstract

Electrochemical storage cell or battery of the alkali metal and sulfur type operable in the range from about 100.degree. C. to 200.degree. C. A solvent component is added to the cathode chamber, which solvent will at least partially dissolve sulfur and is stable under the conditions of operation.
