Abstract
In a syringe comprising a barrel and a plunger reciprocably mounted therein the end wall of the barrel at the discharge end thereof is formed by a disposable container removably attached to the barrel. A flexible wall portion of the container facing the plunger is moved towards and away from a rigid wall portion of the container by the reciprocating movement of the plunger in order to decrease and increase, respectively, the interior volume of the container.
