Abstract

A two-chip type CCD color camera is proposed, wherein a green filter and a line-sequentially arranged blue-red filter are used in association with separate CCD imagers and in which the luminance signal is synthesized from the output signals of both CCD imagers, and wherein the signal response of the green imager is caused to coincide with the signal response of the red-blue imager by using a comb-filter circuit in the transmission path of the output signal from the green imager for synthesizing the luminance signal.
