Abstract

The invention relates to an avian vaccine and to the preparation thereof. The vaccine according to the invention is a Newcastle disease virus vaccine. Its active ingredient is the P/77/8 NDV strain. The vaccine of the invention is useful in the prevention of Newcastle disease by administration to chickens in the form of an aerosol.
