Abstract

A target made of interchangeable sections each comprising a multiplicity of membranes or plies of penetrable, elastomeric or resistant, tear resistant sheet resin material, the membranes being separated by intervening layers of porous or low density, resilient material such as foam resin material. Membranes are disclosed having opposite surfaces with different coefficients of friction.
