Abstract
A communications cable in which optical waveguides partially fill the inner cross section of a corrugated metallic tubular member and form therein an undulatory configuration extending in the axial direction; thus providing for any given section of cable a length associated with the optical wavesguides that is greater than the length of the corresponding section of the tubular member of such section of communications cable.
