In one embodiment, the moderated image display screen is formed of a lamination of a multi-layer Fresnel lens and an opal scattering plate. In another embodiment the moderated image display screen consists of a lamination of a multi-layer Fresnel lens, an opal scattering plate, and a fly-eye lens.
