Abstract

In a flexural mode quartz crystal vibrator formed from a thin quartz crystal plate, a subminiature quartz crystal vibrator characterized in that said quartz crystal plate is obtained by rotating an X-cut plate around the X-axis by an angle of 0 to 10.degree. and further rotating the same by an angle of 70 to 90.degree. around the Y'-axis, the vibrator having a thickness of less than 0.2 mm as fomed by a photolithographic technique, exciting electrodes being deposited on the sides thereof.
