Abstract
In a keyboard electronic musical instrument of waveshape memory type wherein different waveshapes read out from memories are mixed together at a variable mixing ratio according to variable parameters and then converted to a musical tone, the variable parameters are calculated on the basis of information associated with both lapse of time and the pitch of a musical tone to be produced. Thus, with this musical instrument, it is possible to produce a musical tone varying in the content of higher harmonics with respect to the pitch of the tone assigned to a depressed key and in tone color according to lapse of time.
