Abstract

The invention concerns 4-pyrimidyl sulfides of the general formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are the same or different, and are H, NH.sub.2 or CH.sub.3. The compounds and pharmaceutical compositions containing the compounds, useful for the treatment of gastric ulcers and pathological states relating to gastric hypersecretion, exhibit a low toxicity and high degree of effectiveness.
