Abstract

There is disclosed an electrophotographic method and device for forming copies utilizing a reciprocating member movable for scanning an original document positioned thereon to form a latent image on a rotatable photosensitive medium. Transfer material is fed in response to a feed signal produced by the reciprocating member in accordance with movement thereof. In one mode of operation, the photosensitive medium completes at least two rotations for each reciprocation of the reciprocating member.
