Abstract

Siloxanes of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.3 and R.sub.3 ' independently at each occurrence are long chain alkyl groups and m is an integer of 0 or 1, can be employed as lubricants for video discs. The lubricants are stable to long term storage and to wide variations in temperature and humidity.
