Disclosed are compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is loweralkyl, aminoloweralkyl, hydroxyloweralkyl and aminohydroxyloweralkyl and the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof, all of which are potent antibacterials.
