Abstract

The present invention relates to polycarbonate films, and in particular extruded films and cast films, but preferably extruded films, which are characterized in that they contain about 0.01% to 2% by weight of a NH.sub.4 salt, alkali metal salt or alkaline earth metal salt of a perhalogenoalkanesulphonic acid, preferably a perfluoroalkanesulphonic acid.
