Abstract
Method for coating metal substrates with alloys wherein the substrates are at a temperature above 500.degree. C. The coating process is interrupted temporarily at least once and the substrates are allowed to cool by at least 30.degree. C. Before the beginning of or during the resumed coating process, the substrate temperature is substantially restored.
