Abstract

Haloalkyldithiophosphoric acid esters of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is methyl or ethyl, R.sup.2 is alkyl of 2 to 4 carbon atoms, A is linear or branched alkylene of 2 to 4 carbon atoms and X is chlorine or bromine, which are active against pests, especially insects, mites and ticks, a process for the manufacture of these active ingredients, pesticides containing these haloalkyldithiophosphoric acid esters as active ingredients, and a process for combating pests with these active ingredients.
