Abstract

A polymer having as a component thereof a moiety corresponding to a monomer having the following formula ##STR1## wherein n=0 or 1, X is bromine, chlorine or a mixture thereof and R represents hydrogen or methyl, a method of preparing the same and the use of such a polymer, including a copolymer thereof in a plastic composition containing a normally flammable plastic.
