Abstract
Composition for treatment or prevention of skin, eye or mucosal inflammation in human and animals, especially but not exclusively by external topical application comprising an effective amount of a cyclic nucleotide derivative having the following structural formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, either are both a butyryl radical or one stands for a hydrogen atom and the other for a butyryl radical or both hydrogen atom; this compound may be used as such or in the form of any pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the same. The compounds of the general formula are 3', 5' adenosine monophosphate of cAMP derivatives.
