Abstract
New compounds which are useful as herbicides and fungicides have the general structural formula ##STR1## in which R is C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 straight chain saturated or unsaturated alkoxy, amino, dimethylamino or straight chain C.sub.1 to C.sub.3 monoalkylamino, R.sup.1 is methyl or ethyl, X is nitro, methoxy, methyl, ethyl, Br, Cl or F in which n is an integer from 0 to 2, at least one of the 2 and 6 positions is unsubstituted and Y is H or a C.sub.1 to C.sub.5 branched or unbranched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl or cycloalkyl substituent group.
