Abstract

Halogenated modified isocyanurates of the general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.x is a halogenated alkyl or alkenyl radical; R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are individually either halogenated alkyl radicals, halogenated alkenyl radicals, or unreactive alkyl or aryl moieties, are formed by the reaction of olefins or halogenated olefins with appropriate halogenated modified isocyanate compounds of the general formula: ##STR2## wherein X is a halogen and R.sub.1 ' and R.sub.2 ' are individually either halogens or unreactive alkyl or aryl moieties, in the presence of a solvent.
