Abstract
An antibacterial composition, and a method for treating infectious diseases by application of the same to animals, comprising a phosphoric acid derivative of the formula ##STR1## where R is lower alkanoyl, and one of nocardicin A, ampicillin, ticarcillin, or cefazolin, or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts. The combination exhibits synergistic antibacterial activity.
