Abstract

In the process for the pad-dyeing or printing of materials consisting of, or containing, polyester or polyamide fibers or filaments, whereat in known manner the said materials are padded or printed with an aqueous liquor or printing paste of disperse dyestuffs, and subsequently the dyestuffs are fixed by means of liquid or gaseous methylene chloride or of both of the said phases of methylene chloride, the improvement that a dyestuff of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 represents hydrogen, chlorine, bromine or cyano, R.sub.2 represents hydrogen, chlorine or alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms and R.sub.3 stands for alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, ##STR2## is applied.
