Abstract
A surface processing solution for an aluminum or aluminum alloy substrate comprises 0.1 to 10 g/liter of one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of inositol di-.about.hexaphosphates and water soluble salts thereof and 0.1 to 10 g/liter as Ti of a titanium fluoride. A surface of an aluminum or aluminum alloy substrate is treated with said surface processing solution.
