Abstract

3-Thienyl-acetate derivatives of the general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents an alkyl, a cycloalkyl or an aralkyl radical, R.sub.2 represents hydrogen or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, when they are taken together to form a cyclic group with the carbon atom to which they are attached, represent a polymethylene radical having from 2 to 5 carbon atoms, are prepared from a mixture consituted by a compound of the formula: ##STR2## wherein R.sub.3 has the meaning given above and an organic halide of the formula:
