Abstract

Novel compounds having the structural formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen, i-propyl, phenyl or a substituted phenyl having the structure ##STR2## wherein R.sub.2 is halogen, methoxy, lower alkyl, nitro, trifluoromethyl, acetamido, or sulfonamido and their acid addition salts, are useful for treatment of cardiovascular disorders such as cardiac arrhythmia, hypertension, and angina pectoris. Methods for preparation and use of these compounds are described.
