Abstract
Novel organosilicon compounds containing various functional groups and processes for their preparation are disclosed. The compounds are silanes represented by the following general formula: ##STR1## wherein R represents a hydrocarbon radical containing a carbon-carbon double bond; R.sub.1 represents a hydrocarbon radical; G represents a divalent carbocyclic aromatic or heterocyclic radical; Y represents a group such as Cl, COCl, or COOH; and, n represents an integer equal to 1 or 2.
