Abstract

The invention relates to water-insoluble styryl dyestuffs of the formula ##STR1## wherein B is a bridge member, R is hydrogen, alkyl, aryl or the remaining members of a partially saturated ring fused to the ring 'a', Z is preferably CN and n denotes the numbers 3 to 5. The dyestuffs are outstandingly suitable for the dyeing of hydrophobic fibre materials in yellow shades. The dyeings are distinguished by excellent fastness to light.
