Abstract
The invention is novel methods for the control of shipping fever in cattle, comprising administering parenterally to the animals a pharmaceutically effective amount of the antibiotic BM123.gamma., pharmaceutically acceptable salts, and alkyl derivatives thereof. This invention further relates to the antibiotic BM123.gamma., pharmaceutically acceptable salts, and alkyl derivatives thereof, which have beneficial effect of controlling shipping fever in cattle.
