Abstract

Refrigerants, refrigeration oils and refrigerant-refrigeration oil mixtures containing a substantially hydrophobic polyoxypropyleneamine substituted anthraquinone dyes having the structure ##STR1## wherein R is an alkylene moiety containing at least 1 carbon atom, R' is a member of the group consisting of NH.sub.2, OH, NCOR', OCOR' and OR' wherein R' is an alkyl moiety containing from 1 to about 18 carbon atoms, and wherein n is an integer having an average of at least about 6.
